You will find Me

beside the gentle waters

and quiet streams...

In those alone

times when

others are absent

In a soft spoken

voice, hidden

deep in your heart

When you slow down

and pause to reflect…

In the far corners

of your heart

you will hear a

tender word.

When you wait

I will reply.

When you seek,

I will be found.

When you listen

your treasure

will be profound.

Strength in the Stillness

True strength does not look like rushing or striving. As Isaiah reminds us, our deepest resilience is found simply in quietness and trust. It is the brave act of letting go. When we step away from the noise, our souls can finally settle into the gentle security described in the Psalms:

"Instead, I have calmed and quieted myself, like a weaned child who no longer cries for its mother’s milk. Yes, like a weaned child is my soul within me." — Psalm 131:2

A child resting against its parent is not anxious, demanding, or trying to prove anything. They are simply safe.

When you choose quietness, you place your weary heart into the arms of God. You trade the exhaustion of the hustle for the effortless trust of a child who knows they are deeply loved. Your strength is being renewed right now—not in the noise, but in the sacred stillness of His presence. Breathe deeply. You are safe here.

The Lord is your Shepherd. Today, let Him lead you away from the noise and gently guide you beside the quiet waters of rest.

A Moment for Your Heart
