Crafted by the Creator: Held in His Unending Love

You and I were created in His own image.

What an incredible thought!

How many times have we’ve heard the words spoken,

“You look just like your mom or just like your dad”?

We were created in “His own image”

Imagine that.

Of all the things He could have chosen,

He chose for us to be like Him.

How profound is that?

That alone is praise-worthy.

That alone worth pondering.

Openly and endlessly,

it speaks volumes about the heart of God,

and His desire for us to know Him.

When you walk outside and look up at the vastness

of the skies, and the heavens...

When you ponder the whole earth and all it contains…

When you think about how He’s chosen and created you…

Doesn’t it make you feel surrounded by His love,

and enveloped in His care?

When you see His masterful skill, and beautiful design.

Doesn’t it make your heart sense its worth and value to God?

Doesn’t it project this glimpse of a grander design and plan?

A plan by an all-knowing, all-seeing, all-loving God

whose heart is fully committed to loving and keeping you.

Doesn’t it speak volumes to you about the purpose

He intended for you and your life to be… to be His?

To belong to love Himself.

Doesn’t it just awaken your heart

to the knowledge of Him everywhere?

Of His daily care?

The Heavens declare the glory of God…

The Heavens also declare His love for you,

His eternal love for you.

Where in all creation and the entire universe will you,

Would you ever find a love like this?

God has displayed His love for you

everywhere, and in full view.

How should - how do we respond to it?

His love for you and I has been exemplified

in so many countless ways.

He's carved it in the canyons…

and shaped it in the mountains,

poured it into the oceans…

and spread it across the skies.

Written it in the heavens (and stars)

whispered it in the wind and trees …

And blanketed the whole earth with it.

Trace the footprints (steps) on the road to Calvary.

Hear His voice upon the cross, bringing hope in the

darkness, freedom, and forgiveness.

He's placed His gentle breath in the summer’s breeze.

Everywhere you look His love has been exhibited,

tailored and designed with you in mind.

Telling the story of His love for you.

From the dawn of time,

from the beginning of the ages,

from the foundations of the world,

The Father of time has been thinking of you.

And He has been here throughout it all.

Lord,

You wove my soul with tender care,

And breathe Your love into the air.

Your watchful eyes grace every day,

Your gentle hands still lead my way.

Remind my heart when shadows fall,

That I am Yours, through it all—

Designed by Grace, held in Your sight,

And mirrored in Your holy light.

You were beautifully designed by a Creator who delights in your existence, who watches over your coming and going, and who holds you in an everlasting, tender embrace. Rest in the quiet assurance that you are fiercely loved, carefully watched over, and forever made in His beautiful image.
