Who is this King of Glory?

Sometimes I am so taken back by His love, so overwhelmed and amazed, I just sit in awe that He could care this much for me. As you read this, I pray that you might take a moment to allow these words to wash over you and speak into your heart of God’s incredibly deep love for you personally. May you hear His gentle whisper inviting you to draw nearer and rest in Him. May He speak hope and encouragement into your weary heart and soul and remind you of all that you have in Him. May you know how much you are truly loved. God bless you!

Who is this King of glory Who loves me with such tender majesty? Who is this Lord of Lords Who lays down His life for mine? Who is this Creator of the universe Who comes to live inside my heart? Who is this God of love Who cares so much for me? Who is this babe born God incarnate Who came to rescue me? Who is this man from Galilee Who is the Christ? Who died and rose again? Who sacrifices everything that I might be born again? Who is this Savior Who is more than a mortal man? Who is this One who forgives my sin And makes me whole again? He is the Lord God Almighty the first, the last the beginning and the end. He is the One who has loved us From all eternity. The Eternal One who is Our greatest and closest friend. The One whom The Father sent And we are the children He came and died to redeem. He is the Holy one, Righteous, faithful and true. The One we will meet And stand before in Heaven one day. And The Father will one day ask What did you do with My Son? Did you receive My gift through Him? Did you choose life with Him? Who is this King of glory Who loves me with such tender majesty? Who wipes my tears away in Heaven Who takes away all pain and sorrow. Who is this Lord of Lords Who lays down His life for me? That I might be forgiven And spend all eternity with Him. That I might know the unspeakable joys of Heaven.

Do you know Him as your Lord and Savior? Have you invited Him to come and live in your heart? This little One so Kingly at His birth, So Holy at His death.

So incredibly perfect In all His ways. His Righteous blood that removes every sinful stain.

This Beautiful One So amazing to behold.

Who transforms our lives forever Into His awesome likeness. This One whom we celebrate With praises and joy unspeakable. Who is this King of Glory Who loves us with such tender Majesty? He is JESUS. The Lion of Judah The Bridegroom, returning for His Church. "Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, The Lord mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O you gates! Lift up, you everlasting doors!

And the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory." (Psalm 24:8-10) "And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS" (Revelation 19:16) "Who is this King of Glory? The Lord strong and mighty, The Lord mighty in battle" He is the one who fights for us when we are tired, battle-beaten and our souls are worn-out and weary. Our Almighty, Conquering King, Savior and Best Friend invites us to rest, to rest in His powerful, capable hands and loving heart. He gently whispers to us, "Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."

(Matthew 11:28-30) "For I am gentle and humble in heart" … What tender Majesty indeed with which He Loves us. Amazing!
