Heavenly Focus
When The Sun Has Stopped Shining For You.

When the sun has stopped shining for you…
and the stars in the heavens no longer burn bright.
When all that brought you joy and delight
now seems so dark and dim,
and you wonder if you’ll ever laugh again.
When all the beauty around you has faded,
colored with gray and become jaded.
And you no longer hear the music of life playing…
like when birds sing,
but only the sorrow that rings.
When it seems as though it doesn’t matter …
because of the sorrow that has flooded your heart
and the pain that’s made your world come apart.
When all is black and grim,
remember it’s going to take a while
to begin again.
When you no longer see the blue skies
or the ocean’s charm…
the sunrise or doves soar.
The peaks of the mountains;
or snowflakes fall
or the flowers in bloom
but all you know is pain …
I will be with you,
The One who made all things…
I will love you,
and hold you and surround you.
I see you,
and I will not leave you.
I will go before you,
and you will never be alone.
I will love you
when you are hurting,
and comfort you when you are alone.
I will be the light
in the dark,
and your hope
in your despair.
I will breathe new life
once again
and whatever you need,
I will be it for you.
Know that I am here…
I will carry you through
to the other side.
“JESUS”
I would like to share these verses with you, in the hope that
they may comfort and encourage you, as they have done for me.
They are so much more than just words; they are truth and life.
I pray they will speak to your heart today…
“I would have despaired unless I had believed that I would
see the goodness of the Lord In the land of the living.
Wait for the Lord;
Be strong and let your heart take courage;
Yes, wait for the Lord.” (Psalm 27:13-14)
“The Lord is near to the brokenhearted
And saves those who are crushed in spirit.” (Psalm 34:18)
“He heals the brokenhearted
And binds up their wounds.” (Psalm 147:3)
Maybe you feel God is far away right now…
pause and listen for a moment,
hear the voice of the Good Shepherd as He says:
“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.
Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart,
and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
(Matthew 11:28-30)
He wants to carry that burden for you.
He is closer than a whisper,
He is holding your hand,
He is for you not against you.
This is our God.
“You have been a refuge for the poor,
a refuge for the needy in their distress,
a shelter from the storm
and a shade from the heat.
For the breath of the ruthless
is like a storm driving against a wall.” (Isaiah 25:4 NIV)
Today…
“Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing,
so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
(Romans 15:13)
I love this quote:
“Our loving Lord is not just present,
but nearer than the thought can imagine -
so near that a whisper can reach Him.”
-Amy Carmichael
Can you imagine… the Creator of the universe
is holding your hand?
“For I am the Lord your God
who takes hold of your right hand
and says to you, Do not fear;
I will help you.” (Isaiah 41:13 NIV)
The same God, who is forever on your side (and mine) …
“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us?
He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all,
how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?”
(Romans 8:31-32)
… “who did not spare His own Son," for you and I.
Can you imagine? It blows my mind (lol).
May God renew your hope today; may He strengthen your heart,
and comfort you with His loving presence. May He pick up all the
pieces of your heart and life and hold them in His hands,
may He bind up your wounds… and heal your heart.
May He begin rebuilding something new and beautiful out of it.
Something amazing that will surprise even you. May He carry you
when you are tired and weary, and feel like you can’t go on.
May His eternal flame of hope burn brightly for you. You are
loved. May He hold you ever so tightly today. May He give you
His peace and rest. And may you hold on to His promises for you~
Blessings to you today, dear friend.
